Setting ourselves up for failure
It seems only fitting and human nature
Oh how misery and happiness go hand and hand
Like a glove it all seems to fit all to well
Why do I do this to myself
Trusting in you just because you seem to be a ray of hope
Hope is hollow
I'm foolish
Just like human nature I trust unto you for the last time
For the last time I let myself slip away into you
It ends here
Cast my heart into the abyss
If I feel nothing for the rest of my life
It's a price well paid for the mistakes and lacerations you will make upon me
